Maverick Amplified is an entertainment discovery workspace. It shows movie and television information, an entertainment news reader, and a chat guide that helps you find something to watch.
Your watchlist, viewing history, watch time and playback progress are stored in your browser. When you are signed in, they are also saved to your account on our servers so they follow you to your other devices, including the desktop app; they are stored under an anonymous identifier, not your name or email address. Preferences such as theme stay on each device. Signing out removes them from that device, and they remain in your account until you clear them.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google so the app can greet you and keep you signed in. They are kept in a signed session cookie in your browser, not in a database. We do not receive or store your Google password.
If you sign in by email, your address is used to send you sign-in links and, the first time you sign in, a one-time welcome message. Optional Maverick picks, release alerts and member offers are sent only after you opt in in the sign-in form or Settings; you can switch them off there.
When you opt in, we keep your normalized email, sign-in provider, source and consent timestamps in our protected marketing list so we can send relevant updates and honor unsubscribes. This list is separate from your watch history and transactional billing records.
To keep the app working we record usage events — for example which page was opened, when playback starts or stalls, steps of signing in, and errors — and our server records its own events, such as a sign-in it rejected or an email that failed to send. These are kept for up to 35 days. When you are signed in, your events carry an anonymous identifier derived from your account, never your name or email address. Search text, guide messages and article text are not recorded.
Maverick shows labelled advertising on Discover news pages and selected catalog pages (Home, Movies, TV, Anime and 4K), supplied by Monetag and Adsterra. Guest Home may also show an optional Monetag partner link; it opens only when clicked and does not redirect automatically. Ads never appear on the player, the sign-in screen, your account, Settings, Apps, Watchlist, History or these legal pages, and never while a title is playing.
When you allow ads, these providers receive the information your browser sends with any web request — such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the page you are on — and may set cookies or local storage to choose ads, limit repeats and measure them. They do not receive your name, email address, watchlist or watch history. No ad code loads before any required consent, and choosing “No ads” keeps it off. You can change that choice at any time in Settings → History & data → Advertising.
You can sign out at any time, and you can erase everything the app has stored about you from Settings → Storage → Reset app data. To ask a question about your data, contact Customer Support or dudepoetify7@gmail.com.

Maverick Amplified is provided as-is, as a beta product, for personal and non-commercial use. Anyone can browse; you need an account to watch, play games and use the AI guide. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure.
Film and television information and artwork are supplied by TMDB. Entertainment news is prepared from publicly published publisher feeds; Maverick writes its own paraphrased passages and does not reproduce full publisher articles. Playback is provided by third-party embeds that we do not host, control or guarantee.
The chat guide and expanded article passages are produced by language models. They can be wrong. Do not rely on them as a statement of fact, and check anything that matters against the original source.
Do not use the app to break the law, to scrape or resell its content, to attempt to overload it, or to circumvent access controls.
This is a beta service. Features may change or stop working, and access may be withdrawn at any time. Nothing here creates a warranty, and liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.
